Welcome to Les Epicuriens Book Club
About,
Les Epicuriens Magazine was conceived in anticipation of the upcoming Bookclub. Drawing inspiration from leading examples, we sought to infuse the publication with a distinctive cultural and sports perspective, reminiscent of the sophistication found in The Devil Wears Prada. We believe that books are essential; they enrich our intellect, enhance our appeal, and often provide guidance or inspiration in our daily lives, whether by helping us navigate challenges or by opening doors to new career opportunities. Echoing the ancient Greek tradition, our team maintains that literature and sports are intrinsically linked. Our collective aim has been to embody the ideal of “Kalos Kagathos,” meaning “noble and good.” This vision crystallised during a visit to Crete, where our founder, who is Greek by his mother and Swiss by his dad, was inspired to bring this concept to fruition through Bookclub.
Les Epicuriens Magazine, along with Basket and Sincerely Yours, represents a meaningful addition to our forthcoming book club.
Les Epicuriens Magazine complements Basket, which traditionally focuses on technology, while Sincerely Yours is dedicated to inspiring readers and supporting them in healing from heartbreak and rediscovering love. Within the book club, these three publications will be used together to provide members with a well-rounded cultural experience. Les Epicuriens Magazine will highlight the connections between books, culture, and sports; Basket will explore how technology shapes our understanding of literature and modern life; and Sincerely Yours will offer personal insights and encouragement for readers reflecting on emotional well-being. Together, these magazines offer diverse perspectives and foster lively discussions among book club members, ensuring everyone can engage with the themes that resonate most with them.
