On a rain-soaked Paris street, two strangers lock eyes moments after narrowly escaping a car accident—each convinced the encounter means something more. Across the globe, six others experience life-altering coincidences that ignite hope, longing, and unexpected connections. Fate is about to entwine eight lives in ways none of them could predict.

Viva Forever: An International Tale of Love and Destiny

The narrative focuses on eight individuals in their thirties, each facing the challenges of love and connection. Among them is Ana, a Parisian journalist grappling with the aftermath of divorce, and Malik, a Kenyan musician torn between pursuing his passion and supporting his family back home. Lena, an architect from London, struggles with loneliness in a bustling city, while Lucas, a Brazilian chef, longs to reunite with the child he gave up for adoption. Subtle coincidences—such as two strangers witnessing the same shooting stars or hearing the same song continents apart—link their stories. These events pull the characters together, gradually revealing an invisible thread of fate that connects them.

The story follows these eight protagonists across settings including Paris, Nairobi, London, São Paulo, Athens, and Mumbai, bringing together international backdrops that reflect their journeys. As they search for meaningful connections, themes of belonging, identity, and transformation run throughout their intertwined stories. Their diverse relationships, both same-sex and heterosexual, emphasise how fate transcends boundaries and improbability, underscoring the power of destiny in uniting their lives.

From The Mansion's creator, this Valentine’s Day tale is inspired by the Spice Girls’ 'Viva Forever' and is in development as a novel and possible film. Viva Forever is aimed at readers who enjoy emotional, globe-spanning love stories full of serendipity and fate. Fans of David Nicholls' 'One Day', Jojo Moyes’ 'Me Before You', and Taylor Jenkins Reid’s 'The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo' will find a similar blend of romance, character-driven drama, and interconnected lives. The novel is perfect for readers aged 25-45 who appreciate evocative international settings and sweeping narratives of love and destiny.
